We charge per additional PDF at the overage rate on your plan. We email you at 80% and 100% of your limit so there are no surprises. Prefer hard caps? Enable "usage limit enforcement" in settings and we will reject requests past your cap instead of billing overage.
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
For the first 30 days of a paid plan, yes — if DocuJSON did not work for you, email us and we will refund the subscription. After 30 days, we do not refund past billing periods, but we will cancel your renewal immediately.
Your plan auto-renews at the end of each billing period for the same term at the same price (unless pricing has changed — we notify you 30 days before any change). You can cancel any time from your dashboard or by emailing billing@docujson.com. We send a renewal reminder 3–5 days before each annual renewal.
One successful PDF generation = one unit. Failed requests (4xx/5xx) do not count. Dashboard previews do not count.

A workspace is a separate project with its own API keys, templates, and usage tracking. Teams typically use one workspace per product or client.

It uses the prompt, screenshot, reference, or sample JSON you submit to the builder. Customer Content is not used for standard PDF generation. The builder may send submitted inputs to OpenAI as disclosed on our sub-processors page. Use representative fake data when drafting templates.
Not yet. SOC 2 readiness is planned. We will publish report availability only after an auditor is engaged and a report exists.
Not currently. HIPAA support is on our roadmap as a separate tier with a Business Associate Agreement. Until we publish that offering, do not submit PHI.
